Drop into Lighthouse anytime between 5 - 7 pm to chat with our mentors, try out some VR, experiment with some photography and play with video cameras... but most importantly, find out if you want to join us on the Lighthouse Young Creatives 6-month creative development programme!

What is LYC?

Lighthouse Young Creatives (LYC) is a 6-month programme for 16-25-year-olds in Brighton and Hove that gives you the tools you need to kick-start your creative career.

LYC is about pursuing your interests and ideas for your own creative project and supports you with mentorship, creative masterclasses, business sessions, and opportunities to curate your events.

We cover photography, video and filmmaking, music, VR and design, with dedicated mentors to help you bring your ideas to life. You’ll have access to equipment and a £200 budget for your project costs.

LYC is an opportunity to explore your creativity and start your path towards a creative career. Meet other young creatives, collaborate, learn the skills you want and get your project made, all with support from mentors and industry professionals.
