With a focus on evoking emotion through technology, Wakisa Chikhungu’s multimedia work spans photography and virtual reality. Drawing inspiration from a variety of mediums, including music, her project Like a Bowl of Fruit, showcased at Beyond the Barrier seeks to create emotional connections with viewers, overcoming language and cultural barriers.
